Lets trade Links.

I have been at Link trading for long enough to know that just putting links up on one page and hoping that other's will trade links is not realistic. It fact it is down right embarrassing. I feel that professional relevant link trading takes a lot of work and has great rewards in helping my site and yours become more visible to our customers. Trading links with Capt Bill is smart.

Site relevancy:

We all have heard that just trading links with as many sites as you can will hurt your overall position on the net. With this is mind, I only trade links with sites that we both benefit from trading links, help my visitors locate a supplier of products or services, similar industry type or location is close to mine. For instance, I gladly trade links with Real Estate sites in my local area. These sites might not be in the same industry as mine but we are relevant to each other by the local area.

Database Links:

If you have a database where you store links and then display them based upon a search or a selection, then you have what I call "listings". These are not real link exchanges. A search spider bot cannot see the hyperlink back to a web site when that bot spiders your site. I am very happy to have a listing on your site. However, I will also place your site in my database listing.
