It is exciting to share our adventures in this way - what a great vacation, it was a wonderful celebration and good health for all of us! I do believe that the best way to explore the BVI is to do just as we did, charter a sailboat, arm yourself with cruising guidebook (and a Global Positioning System) and just go where the wind takes you. We pretty much did what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it without being confined by any canned tour guide program. In the evenings we would go ashore and check out the local scene and I think as a result got a much better sense of the culture and lifestyle in the BVI.
