A must for the BVI Charter. I think we were the 2nd Yacht at the mooring
balls. Seas were a little rough and we questioned whether we should go ashore with our
dingy. These are big rocks and navigating a dingy through them is not for the faint at
heart. Just in time the other yacht launched their dingy and we watched to see if they
made it. They survived so we proceeded. We tied up at the dingy moorings and swam ashore.
We took the trail through the baths and came out at the end. These huge granite rocks are
awesome and a little nerve racking to hike through. Some of the spaces were pretty tight.
I was inspired by the baths. Navigate the dingy, take the hike, do the snorkel back
and not get lost. Truly an accomplish for any crew. Once through the baths we put on
our gear and snorkeled back to the dingy. Within minutes of snorkling three yellow
fin snappers started following us, convinced that my camera was food. The leader of
the group swam under me the whole time - everytime I looked down at him, he was
looking up at me. His eyes and expression started reminding me of the Taco Bell dog and
after a while it didn't take too much imagination to hear him saying "Hey Lady, you
got cable - right?" Even Tim commented how they reminded him of stray dogs following
you home for food. The fish finally abandoned us when we encountered another couple who
might have food (or cable) for them.
